Blood Bank & Barbecue
Interested in donating blood but don't know where to start? Need a break from midterms? If so, join HOSA UTSG and Canadian Blood Services (CBS) for our Blood Bank & Burgers event!
Not only is this a great chance to relax, have fun, and help your community, all participants will receive free burgers, drinks, and snacks!
Research Opportunities Symposium
Come to HOSA UTSG’s annual research symposium to meet professors and experienced upper-year research students.
Learn how you can find your first research position and what to expect once you get started in a lab!
Tie-dye 4 Change
HOSA's first ever Tie-dye 4 Change clothing drive will where we are taking donations for gently used clothing and the first 50 students to donate clothing will have the opportunity to tie-dye a white t-shirt and take it home to keep. Please keep in mind that your clothes will be for charity use, and kindly donate clothes in decent quality.
The first 30 students to donate winter clothing (boots, jackets, sweaters, snow pants, etc.) will receive a free regular sized milk tea.
Suturing Workshop
Interested in learning how to suture? Check out our Suturing Workshop hosted by HOSA UTSG and the Trinity School of Medicine (TSM)!
You will have the opportunity get some hands-on practice and learn TWO suturing techniques used to hold body tissues together after injury or surgery.
